Carolyn Brown has traveled the world to photograph famous places and ancient architecture. She has provided photographs for several books on architecture throughout the world. In 2013 she received the prestigious AIA Award for Excellence, and her photographs have been the subject of more than two dozen one-person exhibitions and installations. Her work is a part of many corporate collections, including most recently, the Edith O’Donnell Institute of Art History at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Ms. Brown’s undergraduate degree is a BA in Art Education from Cornell College. She received an MA in Studio Arts from Texas Woman’s University, and she did graduate work in Art History, Center of Arabic Studies, Cairo American University, Egypt.
