Members joined HFW for an exclusive tour of the work in progress on the historic Fairview Home, William J. Bryce Residence.
The Bryce Home was designed by the prominent architectural firm of Messer, Sanguinet and Messer. Renovations include removing paint from the exterior brick, restoring original paint colors throughout, restoring original windows, and removing decades of alternations to the home.

Members toured the oldest fire station still operating in Fort Worth and learned about the city’s bungalow-style fire stations. Built by the City of Fort Worth in the 1920s, these stations were designed to blend into the existing residential neighborhoods.
