1314, 1316 Lee AVE – Lee

Each of this pair of almost identical frame houses of rambling plan features several eccentric gables projecting from the hipped roof. Hugh S. Wakefield, a foreman for Swift & Co., was the first resident of 1316 Lee Avenue in 1907, while carpenter, contractor and builder Thomas D. Stubblefield resided in the house to the south by 1909.
