1411 Lee AVE – Lee

One of a pair of well- preserved Victorian cottages (1409 Lee Avenue), this house is in composition a hip-roofed block with a front projecting bay; a flat-roofed half porch flanks the bay. Fine decorative shingles and brackets adorn the gable end, while the porch retains its original turned columns and jigsawn tracery. Hiram T. Proctor, a salesman, and later City Secretary of North Fort Worth, resided here from 1902 to 1919.
