This large one-story commercial building is adjoined on the north by two smaller brick structures. Marine Garage and Machine Shop was among several industrial firms that located at this address prior to 1926. The larger structure appears to have been built in 1927 for N. E. Gambrell, who purchased the site in 1922 and operated the Fort Worth Laundry Co. beginning in 1928.
