Baird House – Alston

The Baird House is a wood-framed L-plan house that is extremely simple in its design. The porch appears to be a slightly later addition. Built c. 1908, the earliest recorded owner was Harte C. Baird, a mechanic, who lived here through the early 1920s. The house has had a number of owners since. The Baird House is a contributing resource in the Fairmount-Southside Historic District (local and national).
