Brittain House – St. Louis

An intact example of a recurring residential type in early 20th-century Tarrant County, this rectangular wood-framed house has a gabled roof and full porch recessed beneath the front gable end. It was built c. 1905 and occupied for over 50 years by the Brittain family. The Brittain House has been demolished.
