Healy House – Hemphill

A one and one-half story gabled wood-framed residence with full porch, notable for an elegantly detailed Palladian window in the front gable end. Built c. 1911, it was a rental property until purchased in 1918 by Dennis F. Healy, president of the Healy Construction Co. The house, which remained in the family until 1983, is one of several handsome residences on this stretch of Hemphill Street. The Healy House has been demolished.
