Hobbs House – Mistletoe

Built in 1946, the Hobbs House is a late example of the Moderne Style house. It is essentially a hard-edged stuccoed box which makes remarkably few concessions to ornament and none to tradition. Its first owner was William T. Hobbs, a dealer in used trucks and trailers. The house has received a one-story garage addition on the west side of the house. Although the exterior’s appearance is similar to the original structure, it has a hipped roof instead of a flat roof like that found on the house.
