The Mitchell-Casler House is a large red brick residence with a rectangular plan and cross-gabled roof. A gabled portico with heavy half-timbering projects forward. A roof-terraced porte-cochere adjoins to one side. The house was built in 1928 for Ansel P. Mitchell, owner of a Cadillac and LaSalle automobile dealership. The Casler family has owned the property since 1955. The Casler family no longer owns the property.
