Father-and-son developers Bart and Mateson Gutierrez have acquired four historic shotgun houses on East Oleander in Fort Worth’s Historic Southside. Constructed in 1938, these structures are among the few remaining examples of this architectural style in the city. The Gutierrezes plan to rehabilitate the neglected properties, which have suffered from fire damage and squatter occupation, aiming to preserve their historical significance while exploring potential new uses.
