2023 Membership Tour – Woman’s Club Buildings

The historic resources of The Woman’s Club of Fort Worth comprise an entire block (2.2 acres) along the north side of the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in what was Fort Worth’s finest residential neighborhood, Quality Hill.  While The Woman’s Club acquired the buildings between 1923 and 1954, these residences were constructed between 1903 and 1911.  A 1900 carriage house was converted into an art studio in 1929 and it is where many of the Fort Worth Circle artists taught art to the members of The Woman’s Club.
