Robert C. Brauer, a salesman with Barge Commission Co., was the first recorded tenant of this house in 1911. Owned from 1918 to 1960 by Corah Goodley, the house has witnessed a frequent turnover of tenants. Dominant features of the house include the gabled bays and dormer on the east and south elevations; a corner porch is recessed under the hip roof.
