1615 Homan AVE – Homan

This house was constructed about 1911 on a three-lot site owned by Herman Weiss and William Schneider. Apparently constructed as rental housing, the first known tenants in 1912-13 were Wilbur C. Trammel!, a salesman, and Clinton T. Trammell, a bookkeeper. Clad in narrow-milled wood siding, the house exhibits a corner entry porch under the main slope of the hipped roof. A central hip-roofed dormer and boxed eaves with decorative brackets distinguish the simple house.
