This is an unusual two-story concrete block house with a gable roof, large end chimney and a wide garage door opening. A masonry contractor, Neal F. Kingston, built the house in 1939 as a combined garage/apartment for attorney Jack L. Hobson. John A. Rogers, an electrician, operated a repair shop at this location in the 1940s and 1950s. The building is currently vacant.
