Coca-Cola Bottling Company, General Offices – Pennsylvania

White and mixed aggregate panels along with cast arches above narrow windows give this rather utilitarian building a touch of sophistication. A recessed entrance (boarded over) at the northwest corner is accessed by slate covered stairs. The building was designed by Preston M. Geren and constructed by James T. Taylor and Son, two prominent and prolific Fort Worth firms. Coca-Cola had a bottling works on the block to the east from at least the 1930s. The Coca-Cola Company sold the Pennsylvania Avenue building in 1984. The current owner is a construction company.
