House – 12th

This gabled wood-framed house is clad in board-and-batten siding and has a shed-roofed porch attached to the front end-wall. Simple “styleless” houses such as this were built in the 19th and early 20th century throughout Tarrant County, by builders working in folk traditions. This house was built c. 1920. Early residents were Afton Houston, a driver for a lumber company, and his wife, Vinnie. This resource has been demolished
