House – Samuels

136 615 Samuels Avenue, House, c. 1904. Constructed as a rental property, this simple L-plan house was distinguished by an unusual three-sided bay window with a parasol roof. Milton J. Palmer, a car repairman for the Rock Island railroad, was the first occupant of the house. The structure has been demolished, but this listing is retained in the survey for documentary purposes.
