Stangel House – Ellis

William J. Stangel, who operated a saloon, purchases this parcel in 1915 and is first listed as residing here the following year. The one-story frame house is composed of a central hipped clock with projecting gabled bays to the east and south. A half porch exhibits boxed columns, which boxed eaves are embellished with paired brackets.
