Located near the Clear Fork of the Trinity River in southwestern Tarrant County, the cemetery is a family grave site for members of the Willburn family. The Willburns were pioneer farmers in the Benbrook area. There are fifteen marked graves in the cemetery including those of Rachael Marinda Willburn Snyder (1835-1924) and her husband John Snyder (1820-1882). Marinda Snyder, as she was known, donated the land for the first school in Benbrook, and for many years it was called the Marinda Schoolhouse in her honor. Several other members of the Willburn family and three children from the Leak family are also buried here. The cemetery is presently surrounded by houses in the Ridglea Country Club Estates development and is protected by a wooden fence. It received a Texas Historical Marker in 1986.
