This is an unusually late example of a one-story, rectangular shot In house covered in board and batten siding with a full front recessed porch. Builder Jack D. Barker built the house in 1950 for Carter W. Meisenheimer, a mattress finisher for the Sleep Ezy Mattress Co., at a cost of $3,000. Earl L. Hunter was the first tenant to occupy this rental property.
