This two-story Tudor Revival style house was constructed for William Carroll and Jennie Forbess; he was assistant manager of Northern Texas Traction Company. Designed by Joseph R. Pelich, the L-plan residence exhibits a brick-veneer first floor and textured stucco with wavy half-timbering above. An asymmetrical, sloping front fable incorporates an arched portico, while varied dormer window shapes and carved barge boards accent the roofline. The distinctive decorative elements of the house are obscured by a monochrome paint scheme.
